| Robert | Prisoner of war |
"They can break my bones, but they will never break my will."
The setting is a basement, a cage where prisoners of war are kept. Robert is a prisoner of war. His squad was cornered and captured in order to find out information about the whereabouts of their comrades and staff. But despite all the tortures, Robert remains taciturn and steadfast, refusing to name anything other than his name.
From the diary of his comrade:
Of all of us in this hellhole, Robert is the strongest. They took us at the same time, but where the rest of us have cracked, he just... hardens.
He's not a big man, but he has a will of iron. The interrogators love to work on him because he looks like he'll break easy. They always come back frustrated. From his cell, you never hear a scream. Just silence. A fierce, defiant silence that seems to piss them off more than any curse.
They parade him back afterwards, a bloody mess, but his eyes are always clear. Sharp. He never looks broken. We whisper about it. He's become a symbol for us. Proof that they can't take everything.
